RAMALLAH, April 24 (Xinhua) -- Palestinian Prime Minister Mohammed Ishtaye on Wednesday called for an international coalition to stand against the U.S. "Deal of the Century."

Ishtaye's office said in an emailed statement following his meeting with Polish Representative to Palestine Aleksandra Bukowska at his office in West Bank Ramallah city that "the European Union (EU) has not taken part in the consultations or draft of the deal."

Ishtaye stressed that the Palestinian Authority (PA) will not deal with the American peace ideas widely known as "Deal of the Century."

Ishtaye appreciated the Polish support to the UN Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) that was strongly affected by the U.S. aid cut.

The Palestinian prime minister's statement came as U.S. President Donald Trump's senior advisor Jared Kushner said that details of the deal will be made public in June.

Kushner reportedly said that both Israelis and Palestinians will have to make serious concessions, but did not say if the plan is based on the two-state solution or not.

According to Israeli public radio, Kushner said that the plan "focuses on enhancing the living conditions of Palestinians and Israel's security at the same time."

Palestinian officials declared last week the launch of an international diplomatic campaign to counter the U.S. Middle East peace plan.

The Palestinians have boycotted the U.S. administration since it recognized Jerusalem as Israel's capital and moved its embassy in Israel to Jerusalem last May.

They criticized that the U.S. "Deal of the Century" falls way short of their expectations and aspirations for lasting and just peace settlement and called for an international multilateral peace mechanism to overlook peace negotiations.
