BEIJING, April 25 (Xinhua) -- Rising shooting powerhouse India took both gold medals of the 10m air rifle mixed team and 10m air pistol mixed team on offer in the Shooting World Cup Beijing stage here on Thursday.

In the gold medal match for the air rifle event, Anjum Moudgil and Divyaansh Singh Panwar beat Liu Ruxuan and Yang Haoran of China 17-15.

Russian Yulia Karimova and Grigorii Shamakov won the bronze medal match beating their American opponents 16-2.

And the same sequence was repeated for the podium finish in the 10m air pistol mixed team, as India, China and Russia took the top three places.

Manu Bhaker and Chaudhary Saurabh from India beat China's Jiang Ranxin and Pang Wei in the gold medal match 16-6, and Russia's Vitalina Batsarashkina and Artem Chernousov defeated another Chinese pair 16-4 to take the bronze medal.

India currently tops the medal table with two golds, while other three golds was split among Russia, South Korea and the Czech Republic.

"I didn't do well for my part, but the high-level performance of our opponents was also unexpected," said silver medalist Pang, a veteran with two Olympic medals. "We will beat them to take the gold at the Olympics."

The World Cup will continue with the men's 10m air rifle and men's 25m rapid fire pistol on Friday. Enditem
