The exercise is being held in the country for the first time, and will last until May 17.

In a statement posted on its official website, the ministry said that the drills, formally known as Logistics Development, involve 130 service members from 12 countries including Ukraine, Azerbaijan, Finland, Sweden, Albania, North Macedonia, Croatia, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro.

Unit formation and deployment, provision of logistical support areas of operation and conducting drawdown of troops were among elements of the drills, said the statement.
