BEIJING, May 8 (Xinhua) -- About 3,000 front-line employees attended the opening ceremony for the annual National Olympic Sports Center (NOSC) constructors' fitness festival here on Wednesday.
These constructors participated in several activities like one-leg standing, balloon juggle, push-ups and worm-crawling to showcase their balance, skills, flexibility and strength.
Ever since its inception in 2013, it has become a traditional sport festival for constructors, who come from all over the country to contribute to the development of the metropolitan capital of Beijing.
The festival is partly sponsored by the National Olympic Sports Center, which hosted the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games and a training center for many national teams.
