MADRID, May 13 (Xinhua) -- Spanish share values fell by 0.78 percent on Monday with the benchmark stock market index Ibex-35 opening on 9,117.50 points and closing on 9,046.80 points.
The shares of 28 of the 35 companies trading on the Ibex-35 lost value, while the share prices of just five went up and two remained unchanged.
Monday's worst performing company was cellulose and energy producer ENCE: Energia y Celulosa which suffered a 7.52 percent drop in share prices. Shares in industrial corporation Indra went down by 5.75 percent, while steel producer Arcelormittal, saw share prices go down by 4.96 percent.
The day's best results were for the energy producers and suppliers, with Red Electrica Espanola, Naturgy and Iberdrola seeing share values rise by 2.25 percent, 0.96 percent and 0.88 percent respectively. Enditem
