Dusseldorf's Bodzek banned for two games after red card

BERLIN, May 14 (Xinhua) -- Fortuna Dusseldorf's Adam Bodzek received a two-game ban due to his violent conduct in their 3-2 Bundesliga defeat to Borussia Dortmund on Saturday.

The midfielder was shown a straight red card for a dangerous tackle on Jadon Sancho with eight minutes remaining.

Bodzek will miss the end-of-season game against relegated Hanover and the opening match of the 2019/2020.
