TEHRAN, May 25 (Xinhua) -- Iran approved 914.45 million U.S. dollars of foreign investments during the period from March 21, 2018 to February 19, 2019, Eghtesad Online news website reported on Saturday.
The figure registered a 67.4-percent decline in the foreign investments compared with the corresponding period of previous year.
The foreign funds were invested in Iran's 65 industrial, mining, and trade projects during the period.
According to the report, a large part of the foreign investment was put into an auto company in Kerman province with 230 million dollars.
Among other things, the foreign investments went to the projects like chain stores, car manufacturing, construction materials, urban transportation and iron ore concentrates.
