FRANKFURT, June 11 (Xinhua) -- German stocks edged up on Tuesday, with the benchmark DAX index up 110.43 points, or 0.92 percent, to close at 12,155.81 points.
Industrial giant Thyssenkrupp won the most among the blue chips, with its shares up 4.76 percent. Deutsche Bank and semiconductor manufacturer Infineon Technologies rose by 3.75 percent and 3.42 percent respectively.
Sportswear and equipment maker Adidas lost the most among the blue chips, by falling 1.19 percent. Energy group RWE and E.ON went down by 0.98 percent and 0.48 percent respectively.
Multinational software corporation SAP was the most-traded share with a turnover of 228.9 million euros (259.1 million U.S. dollars). Enditem
