PARIS, June 12 (Xinhua) -- French shares lost on Wednesday, with the benchmark Paris CAC 40 down 0.62 percent, or 33.53 points, to close at 5,374.92 points.
Of the 40 selected large companies, 29 lost in the day.
French mass media conglomerate Vivendi advanced 1.28 percent. French multinational company which supplies industrial gases and services Air Liquide rose 0.94 percent. French personal care company L'Oreal rose 0.65 percent.
UK-based company that provides complete project life cycle services TechnipFMC lost 3.58 percent. French multinational integrated oil and gas company Total lost 2.73 percent. French multinational investment bank and financial services company Societe Generale lost 2.04 percent. Enditem
