8 injured in car collision in Czech Republic

PRAGUE, June 22 (Xinhua) -- Eight people were injured in a collision involving four cars south of Prague on Saturday night, according to local media report.

The accident happened on a road between Milin and Pribram after 21:00 local time, Czech News Agency quoted police as saying.

Among the injured, at least five people were in serious condition, it was reported. Three helicopters have been deployed to the scene.

The cause of the collision is under investigation.
