BEIRUT, June 24 (Xinhua) -- Members of Lebanese and Palestinian political parties said Monday that they completely refuse the "Deal of the Century" and any measures that are related to the new Middle East peace plan, the National News Agency reported.

"We completely refuse what has been called the "Deal of the Century" while considering everything related to it as annulled, in addition to refusing to deal with it and with any of its repercussions and events including the Manama conference in Bahrain," Chairman of the Lebanese Palestinian Dialogue Committee Minister Hassan Mneimneh said.

Mneimneh's remarks came during a meeting held on the eve of the Bahrain's economic conference between Lebanese and Palestinian officials to discuss the negative repercussions of the "Deal of the Century" and voice the rejection of any of its components.

"This meeting comes on the eve of the Manama conference which will be held under a fake title promising peace and prosperity while it aims at replacing national and political legitimate rights of Palestinians in return for money and economic projects," he said while adding that the Palestinians' rights to live in peace in their lands can never be sold at any price.

Mneimneh assured that the "Deal of the Century" will expose Lebanon and other Arab countries to suspicious and dangerous plots which require cooperation in taking measures that would lead to the failure of this deal especially when it comes to the rights of refugees to return to their land.

Mneimneh also noted that the Lebanese constitution refuses such a deal and the United Nations resolutions and the League of Arab States do not accept to take other countries' lands by force.
