Foreigners' arrivals to Albania up by 5.8 pct in first five months of 2019

TIRANA, June 25 (Xinhua) -- The number of foreigners that arrived in Albania during the first five months of 2019 increased by 5.8 percent year-on-year and amounted to 1,506,618, the country's National Institute of Statistics (INSTAT) reported on Tuesday.

According to INSTAT, in May 2019, a total of 401,531 foreigners arrived in Albania, increasing by 1.7 percent compared to the same period last year.

Meanwhile, INSTAT data showed a total of 2,196,873 Albanians left the country in the first five months of 2019, an increase of 10.7 percent year-on-year.
