SYDNEY, June 26 (Xinhua) -- The Australian dollar eased against the greenback on Wednesday but remained in a solid range despite impending interest rate cuts.
At 07:00 (AEST), the Australian dollar was buying 69.61 U.S. cents, down from 69.63 U.S. cents.
A number of analysts have brought forward their expectations for a second cut to Australia's interest rate following a speech by the Reserve Bank of Australia Governor Philip Lowe on Tuesday.
At 09:30 (AEST), the Australian dollar was buying 69.60 U.S. cents. Enditem
