FRANKFURT, July 10 (Xinhua) -- German stocks edged dwon on Wednesday, with the benchmark DAX index down 63.14 points, or 0.51 percent, to close at 12,436.55 points.
Automotive manufacturer Daimler lost 1.57 percent, the top loser among the blue chips, followed by automotive supplier Continental and energy group E.ON, which lost 1.52 percent and 1.33 percent respectively.
Renal dialysis equipment supplier Fresenius Medical gained 1.65 percent, becoming the top gainer. Semiconductor manufacturer Infineon Technologies and European health care company Fresenius SE advanced 1.42 percent and 0.60 percent respectively.
Multinational software corporation SAP was the most traded share with a turnover of 221.3 million euros (248.3 million U.S. dollars). Enditem
