LONDON, July 10 (Xinhua) -- British stocks decreased on Wednesday, with the benchmark FTSE 100 Index down by 0.08 percent, or 5.78 points, to close at 7,530.69 points.
Smurfit Kappa Group, a leading corrugated packaging company, soared 3.00 percent, the top gainer of the blue chips. Antofagasta and Scottish Mortgage Investment Trust increased by 1.79 percent and 1.73 percent, respectively.
Micro Focus International, a multinational software and information technology business, with its shares losing 11.73 percent. Coca-Cola HBC AG, a Coca-Cola anchor bottler, dropped 2.01 percent. WPP, a British multinational advertising and public relations company, fell 2.00 percent. Enditem
