JERUSALEM, July 18 (Xinhua) -- Israeli soccer club Hapoel Be'er Sheva entered the second qualifying round of the Europa League after beating Albania's KF Laci 1-0 on Thursday evening.
A week after a 1-1 draw in the first leg in Albania, the Beer Sheva players faced difficulties in the first half of today's duel.
The 10,800 home fans, at the Turner Stadium in the southern city of Be'er Sheva, celebrated the only goal in the 69th minute, scored by the midfielder Naor Sabag.
Beer Sheva will face Kazakh team FC Kairat Almaty on July 25 in Israel and a week later in Kazakhstan.
