TEHRAN -- Iran's Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) said on Thursday that it had seized a foreign ship "smuggling fuel" in the Gulf.
The foreign vessel was carrying 1 million liter of "smuggled fuel" when seized by the IRGC naval forces to the south of Lark Island on July 14, according to an IRGC statement carried by the state TV. (Iran-Foreign Ship-Seizure)

ANKARA -- A minibus carrying illegal immigrants overturned in Turkey's eastern province of Van on Thursday, killing at least 15 and injuring over 20 others, a local official said.
The accident occurred at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT) on the highway from the provincial capital of Van to Ozalp district near Ipekyolu district when the driver lost control of the steering wheel and plunged the vehicle into a roadside ditch, state-run Anadolu Agency reported. BAGHDAD -- A total of eight Islamic State (IS) militants were killed on Thursday in an airstrike by the U.S.-led international coalition aircraft in the northern Iraqi province of Nineveh and an ambush by security forces in the eastern Diyala province.
In the northern Nineveh province, the U.S.-led coalition aircraft acted on intelligence reports from Nineveh's Operations Command and carried out an airstrike on an IS hideout in al-Baaj area near the border with Syria, a statement by the media office of the Joint Operations Command (JOC) said. KHARTOUM -- The talks scheduled for Friday between Sudan's Transitional Military Council (TMC) and the opposition Freedom and Change Alliance were postponed, the opposition alliance said in a statement on Thursday.
"It has been agreed to delay the meeting regarding the constitutional declaration indefinitely," Munzir Abul-Mali, a leading member in the alliance, said in a statement without giving reasons for the delay. (Sudan-Talks-Delay) Enditem
