BEIJING, July 21 (Xinhua) -- Railway police authorities have dispatched 156 performance teams to spread safety tips during this year's "summer transport," according to the Ministry of Public Security.
The teams have performed various kinds of original shows including Chinese cross-talk, sitcoms and rap to teach audiences in railway stations, schools, villages, communities and companies how to prevent theft and fraud and ensure safe train travel.
Meanwhile, railway police authorities in cites including Xi'an, Lanzhou and Urumqi have also invited teenage representatives to visit police and train stations.
Some 720 million passenger trips are expected to be made on Chinese railways during this year's "summer transport" from July 1 to the end of August.
The figure is an 8.1-percent increase year on year, with a daily average of more than 11.6 million passenger trips, according to the China State Railway Group.
