HELSINKI, July 23 (Xinhua) -- Several people were injured, two critically, when a bus and a car collided in Seinajoki, west central Finland early Tuesday.
The bus was transferring ten berry pickers. National broadcaster Yle said they were from Thailand.
Local newspaper Ilkka reported that the driver of the private car was suspected of having been drunk.
Rescue services told local media that road conditions on a regional highway were normal.
Two of the injured remained in critical condition at noon on Tuesday, Seinajoki hospital told Yle.
It is common that Asians especially from Thailand come to Finland as seasonal berry industry workers.
