KIEV, August 2 (Xinhua) -- No civilian casualties have been recorded in Eastern Ukraine following a new ceasefire that began on July 21, according to reports from a special monitoring group.
The report by the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) Special Monitoring Mission to Ukraine (SMM) was published Friday on OSCE's official website.
Fewer ceasefire violations were recorded in both Donetsk and Luhansk regions between July 15 and July 28, with a more significant drop occurring since the latest ceasefire, according to the report.
The ceasefire agreement was reached in Minsk at a meeting of the Trilateral Contact Group, a body working to facilitate a diplomatic resolution to the conflict.
