JERUSALEM, Aug. 15 (Xinhua) -- Israeli soccer club Hapoel Beer Sheva entered the playoff of UEFA's Europa League after beating Sweden's IFK Norrkoping 3-1 on Thursday evening.

A week after a 1-1 draw in the first leg match of the third qualifying round in Sweden, the first half of the second leg in the southern city of Beer Sheva ended scoreless.

The 10,000 home fans celebrated the first goal in the 67th minute, as the substitute striker Niv Zrihan unleashed an impressive shot from 17 meters.

Beer Sheva's Dutch striker Nijel Hasselbaink doubled the lead in the 72nd minute through an assist by Ramzi Safuri.

The Swedish defender, Rasmus Lauritsen, scored for Norrkoping in the 82nd minute, but Zrihan secured Beer Sheva's qualification, scoring in the 94th minute.

In the playoff phase, Beer Sheva will face the Dutch team Feyenoord Rotterdam who passed Georgia's Dinamo Tbilisi in the third round.
