MADRID, Aug. 20 (Xinhua) -- Spanish share values fell sharply by 1.32 percent on Tuesday with the benchmark stock market index Ibex-35 opening at 8,733.30 points and closing at 8,618.30 points amid fears of the political crisis in Italy.
The shares of 33 of the 35 companies on the Ibex-35 lost value, while those of two companies went up.
Tuesday's worst performing company was clean energy and cellulose producer ENCE Energia y Celulosa with a 5.06 percent fall in share prices. The Banco Sabadell savings bank saw shares down by 3.38 percent, while media company Mediaset lost 3.08 percent.
The two companies which saw share prices rise were telecommunications company Masmovil Ibercom, up 1.57 percent, and infrastructure provider Acciona, up 1.11 percent. Enditem
