The 2019 Lancang-Mekong Cooperation Expo will set up an international talent exchange platform for the first time and hold a Southeast and South Asia working festival focusing on the exchange and interaction of international talents, cross-border entrepreneurship and employment, and the incubation and cultivation of international talents.

KUNMING, Aug. 23 (Xinhua) -- The 2019 Lancang-Mekong Cooperation Expo (LMCE) will be held from Nov. 21 to 25 in Kunming, capital of southwest China's Yunnan Province, the organizer said Friday.

The expo will set up an international talent exchange platform for the first time and hold a Southeast and South Asia working festival focusing on the exchange and interaction of international talents, cross-border entrepreneurship and employment, and the incubation and cultivation of international talents.

More than 1,000 enterprises, 60 colleges and over 50,000 talents from home and abroad are expected to attend the expo, while over 10,000 pieces of employment information will be published at the expo.

The expo includes an exhibition and a forum. The exhibition covers fields of investment and trade, cultural tourism, and special products of countries in the Lancang-Mekong region, with around 18 countries taking part. The forum encompasses several sub-forums focusing on the facilitation of cross-border investment and trade, legal services in international commercial arbitration, etc.

The annual event has been built into a multi-level and wide-ranging exchange and cooperation platform for Lancang-Mekong cooperation, which has been widely recognized and actively participated in by governments, institutions and enterprises in the region.
