DUBAI, Aug. 23 (Xinhua) -- Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan received a phone call from French President Emmanuel Macron over regional issues on Thursday, the official WAM news agency reported.
The two leaders reviewed the strong ties between the two sides and prospects of accelerating bilateral relations across various fronts.
They also exchanged views on the latest regional and global developments and stressed coordination to intensify international efforts to enhance security and stability in the region.
The conversation came ahead of the Group of Seven (G7) summit on Aug. 24 to 26 in Biarritz, France, which will address global issues in various areas, including economy, foreign policy and environment protection.
