GUANGZHOU, Aug. 26 (Xinhua) -- Seven people were killed and 11 others injured after a coach overturned on an expressway in south China's Guangdong Province, local authorities said Monday.
The accident occurred around midnight of Monday on the Shenyang-Haikou Expressway in the section of the city of Yangjiang, according to the Yangjiang municipal publicity department.
The 44-seat coach carried 47 people when the accident happened. Six people died at the site and another one died in a hospital. Eleven people had minor injuries.
The cause of the accident is being investigated.
