KIEV, Sept. 4 (Xinhua) -- Some 29 percent of Ukrainian teenagers and young adults were exposed to online bullying and 16 percent of them were therefore forced to miss school, according to a survey released by the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) on Wednesday.

The study, conducted in June 2019, involved 6,800 Ukrainians aged between 13 and 24.

The respondents answered questions anonymously using U-Report, a free messaging system developed by UNICEF and its partners.

Social networks, including Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat and Twitter, are the most common place for online bullying, some of the survey participants said.
