BEIJING, Sept. 5 (Xinhua) -- A 5.2-magnitude earthquake jolted the South China Sea area, at 9:58 p.m. Thursday, according to the China Earthquake Networks Center (CENC).
The epicenter was monitored at 14.77 degrees north latitude and 116.16 degrees east longitude. The quake struck at a depth of 20 km, the center said in a statement.
