Wang Jiajiahe adds the 800m freestyle title to her collection in Anshan

ANSHAN, Sept. 11 (Xinhua) -- World bronze medalist Wang Jianjiahe claimed her sixth title at the Chinese Autumn Swimming Championships after she dominated the 800m freestyle here on Wednesday.

Wang, the winner of 200, 400, 1500 and two relay gold medals in Anshan, breezed through to clock eight minutes 30.91 seconds for her sixth title while her teammate Hou Yawei finished second at 8:31.50.

In the women's 200m backstroke, the 12-year-old Wang Jiayin claimed her first national champion in 2:10.45, beating Liu Yaxin 2:11.41 and Peng Xuwei 2:11.55.

Li Zhuhao snatched a narrow victory in the men's 100m butterfly in 53.43, 0.01 faster than the silver medalist Chen Chaoqi. Medley veteran Wang Shun came to third in 53.64.

Team Jiangsu won the mixed 4X100m medley relay.

The 9-day Championships will come to an end on September 12. A total of 522 swimmers took part in the meet which is considered a rehearsal for the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games with a morning final competition format.
