COPENHAGEN, Sept. 16 (Xinhua) -- Danish private sector plans to cut greenhouse gas emissions while creating numerous new jobs by 2030, said a private business organization on Sunday.

The plan shares the current government's ambition to cut greenhouse gas emissions by 70 percent by 2030, from 1990 levels, said the Confederation of Danish Industry (DI), a private business and employers' association representing approximately 11,000 Danish companies in a press release.

The DI predicted that this plan would create 120,000 new jobs in private companies, adding to the current 1.2-million employees in its member companies.

It also predicted that this plan would bring Denmark over 16 billion U.S. dollars' income.
