BANGKOK, Sept. 16 (Xinhua) -- Three people were killed and nine injured as a van overturned in Saraburi in central Thailand, police told local media on Monday.
Police said the van driver and eight other passengers were injured and were rushed to the Saraburi Hospital.
One passenger was hurled out of the van by the impact and died on the spot, and two passengers died inside the van after the crash, police said.
The injured told authorities that the van was traveling from Phetchabun Province in central-north Thailand to Bangkok when the accident happened, according to police.
