COPENHAGEN, Sept. 18 (Xinhua) -- An explosion rocked a pizzeria in Vanloese, a district of Copenhagen, early Wednesday morning. No casualties have been reported.

Copenhagen police was notified of the blast at 5:40 am in the morning, moments after it happened.

Despite being closed, the pizzeria's opening times suggest that food was still being served just 40 minutes prior to the explosion.

The presence of an ambulance at the scene was normal protocol as no injuries were reported.

"We can see that a man is walking towards the pizzeria and carrying a white bag," said Deputy Police Inspector Brian Belling referring to video evidence from the crime scene filmed directly before the explosion.

The police official told a press briefing that it was too early to confirm whether an explosive device was deliberately detonated like the ones set off in Nordhavn and Noerrebro in August.
