Hawks re-sign veteran player Carter

WASHINGTON, Sept. 20 (Xinhua) -- The Atlanta Hawks have re-signed veteran forward Vince Carter, but the team did not disclose the details of the agreement.

Carter appeared in 76 games last season for the Hawks, averaging 7.4 points and 2.6 rebounds.

Carter has played 21 seasons in the NBA with the Hawks, Toronto, New Jersey, Orlando, Phoenix, Dallas, Memphis and Sacramento and when the 42-year-old appeared in his first regular season game in 2019-20, he will become the first player in NBA history to play in 22 seasons.

Carter was drafted in 1998 and was named the 1999 NBA Rookie of the Year. Carter is also an eight-time All-Star.
