WASHINGTON, Sept. 22 (Xinhua) -- Three people were found dead from unknown causes and four others were hospitalized in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, authorities said on Sunday.

All the victims were wearing orange paper wristbands, police said.

The incident began around 2 a.m. (0600 GMT) when 911 received a call from an unresponsive man inside an apartment building in the city's South Side neighborhood, a public safety official said.

Five of the seven victims were found in the apartment, one in the elevator of the apartment building, and another one on a nearby street, police said.

The conditions of those hospitalized range from serious to critical.

Police were trying to collect information from anyone who attended or has knowledge of a party or event in which guests were given orange wristbands.
