HAMBURG, Germany, Oct. 8 (Xinhua) -- COSCO Shipping (Europe) GmbH President, Sun Jun, has said that his company will provide full-process services for European exhibitors which are about to take part in the second China International Import Expo (CIIE) in Shanghai.
COSCO Shipping (Europe) GmbH, based in northern German harbor city of Hamburg, is busy dealing with transportation services for its customers and will guarantee their smooth participation, Sun told Xinhua in a recent interview.
According to him, his company provides European exhibitors with a full range of logistics services, including delivery, warehousing, packing, customs clearance, land transportation, sea and air transportation services.
"We can provide a one-stop service for expo exhibitors, including booth design and construction, international sea and air transportation and home logistics," Sun continued.
China Ocean Shipping Corporation (COSCO), the world's largest integrated shipping enterprise, is the only international transportation service provider recommended by the Expo.
Since August this year, a large number of exhibits have been shipped from Italy, France, Turkey, Czech Republic and Switzerland to Shanghai by COSCO Shipping (Europe) GmbH.
Sun believed that his company will continue to expand its full-process service business in Europe and contribute to the promotion of Sino-European trade exchange and economic development with the continuous implementation of the Belt and Road Initiative.
The second CIIE will be held in Shanghai between Nov. 5 and 10 this year and over 3,000 enterprises from about 150 countries and regions have signed up for the expo.
Last year, 172 countries, regions and international organizations and over 3,600 enterprises participated in the first CIIE, held from Nov. 5 to 10 in Shanghai. It was the world's first import-themed national-level expo.
