Zambian trainer unveils squad to face eSwatini in CHAN qualifier

LUSAKA, Oct. 16 (Xinhua) -- Stand-in coach of the Zambia national soccer team Aggrey Chiyangi on Wednesday unveiled a 24-member squad that will face eSwatini in the final round second leg African Nations Championship (CHAN) qualifier match this Saturday.

The Chipolopolo carry a 1-0 lead from the first and will be gaining to finish off eSwatini during the final game to be played at the National Heroes Stadium in Lusaka, the Zambian capital, according to a release from the country's soccer governing body.

The bulk of the players were part of the tour of the national team which played two friendly games last weekend.

Zambia draw 1-1 with Niger before settling for a 2-2 draw with Benin.

The winner over two legs qualifies to the Cameroon 2020 CHAN.
