LONDON, Oct. 18 (Xinhua) -- British stocks decreased on Friday, with the benchmark FTSE 100 Index down by 0.44 percent, or 31.75 points, to close at 7,150.57 points.
Intercontinental Hotels Group, an international hotel company, and Evraz, a multinational vertically integrated steel making and mining company, both dropped 4.58 percent. Relx, a British multinational information and analytics company, fell 2.55 percent.
Royal Bank of Scotland Group, a banking and financial services company, soared 2.63 percent, the top gainer of the blue chips. Aveva Group and ITV increased by 1.76 percent and 1.74 percent respectively. Enditem
