BEIJING, Oct. 20 (Xinhua) -- More than 3,600 youth organizations have contributed to China's ongoing poverty eradication campaign since 2017 under a partnership program of the Communist Youth League of China (CYLC).
The organizations have mobilized close to 500,000 young people to take part in the initiative over the period, according to the league.
Initiated by the CYLC, the partnership program aims to encourage youth organizations to take an active part in the poverty reduction campaign and social services through support to specific projects, exchange and communication activities and training sessions.
This year, the program focused more on targeted measures for poverty alleviation in counties and regions suffering from entrenched poverty, the CYLC said in a statement.
