WASHINGTON, Nov. 7 (Xinhua) -- LA Galaxy general manager Dennis Kloese said the club will talk to superstar Zlatan Ibrahimovic of Sweden on the contract extension and expect Ibrahimovic to make the final decision in coming days.

"I think we need to be careful on that situation," Kloese was quoted as saying by MLS official website on Thursday. "He scored an enormous amount of goals. His form is super good. Like I said before, it's a luxury to have him, but I also know he has different options, and he's a big name overall in the world."

"I think in the upcoming days, we'll have a good solution," he added.

Ibrahimovic's contract with Galaxy is set to expire at the end of the year, and the 38-year-old hasn't said if he'll be back next season. Rumors have been rife regarding the star's possible next club.

He had been linked with a move to Napoli earlier, but failed to work out a deal.

Italian club Bologna, Australia's Perth Glory and English side Manchester United have also been linked to a move for the forward.

"The reality is we don't know yet," head coach Guillermo Barros Schelotto said. "So we need to wait."

Although there is no specific deadline for the talk, Schelotto said a decision "will be during this week or next week".
