QINGDAO, China, Nov. 12 (Xinhua) -- Darius Adams had a game-high 45 points and 12 rebounds, leading hosts Qingdao to a 115-100 victory over Guangzhou in the Chinese Basketball Association (CBA) here on Tuesday.
Guangzhou started well and took the first period by 11 points, but Qingdao overhauled their visitors to lead 50-52 after the second quarter.
Qingdao continued to dominate into the second half, taking a 87-72 lead into the final quarter and maintaining that advantage to the whistle.
Five Qingdao players registered double digits, while Guangzhou's Andrew Nicholson contributed a double-double with 29 points and 15 rebounds.
