FRANKFURT, Nov. 12 (Xinhua) -- German stocks edged up on Tuesday, with the benchmark DAX index up 85.14 points, or 0.65 percent, to close at 13,283.51 points.
Semiconductor manufacturer Infineon Technologies won the most among the blue chips, with its shares up 6.18 percent. Deutsche Post and manufacturing and electronics company Siemens rose by 3.82 percent and 1.72 percent respectively.
Automotive supplier Continental lost the most among the blue chips, by falling 3.26 percent. Material manufacturer Covestro and renal dialysis equipment supplier Fresenius Medical went down by 1.02 percent and 0.89 percent respectively.
Infineon was the most-traded share with a turnover of 313.3 million euros (345.0 million U.S. dollars). Enditem
