FRANKFURT, Nov. 14 (Xinhua) -- German stocks edged down on Thursday, with the benchmark DAX index down 49.84 points, or 0.38 percent, to close at 13,180.23 points.
Automotive manufacturer Daimler lost 4.48 percent, the top loser among the blue chips, followed by Pharmaceutical company Merck and energy group RWE, which shed 3.28 percent and 2.46 percent respectively.
Global internet technology and financial services provider Wirecard gained 0.95 percent, becoming the top gainer of the day. Housing association Vonovia and energy group E.ON advanced 0.88 percent and 0.78 percent respectively.
Daimler was the most traded share with a turnover of 557.1 million euros (612.6 million U.S. dollars). Enditem
