ISTANBUL, Nov. 14 (Xinhua) -- Turkey on Thursday deported seven more foreign "terrorist fighters" back to their countries from Istanbul, the Interior Ministry announced.

Six German nationals were sent to Berlin, while one person with British nationality was transferred to London, the ministry said in a statement posted on its website.

The German fighters, two men and four women, were brought to Istanbul Airport in the afternoon by the Istanbul Provincial Migration Administration, the state-run Anadolu Agency reported.

One of the women was holding a baby in her arms, Anadolu said.

The Interior Ministry also noted that an American jihadist, who has been stuck in no man's land between Turkey and Greece since Monday, would be able to return to the United States, as Washington has promised to receive him.

Amid unending rows with European countries, Turkey declared days ago that it would send thousands of captured Islamic State militants, mostly from Europe as reported by Turkish media outlets, back to their countries even if their citizenships were canceled.
