LONDON, Nov. 20 (Xinhua) -- A man is fighting for life after he fell onto the tracks during rush hour on Wednesday afternoon at a Tube station in central London.
The man suffered a medical episode and fell in front of an incoming train at Oxford Circus station at 1730 GMT, British Transport Police (BTP) said.
The Tube station was evacuated as emergency services reached the scene. The man was rushed to hospital with leg injuries and remains there in a critical condition.
After the accident, Victoria Line trains were initially suspended and severe delays were reported across the line into the evening.
