HOUSTON, Nov. 20 (Xinhua) -- U.S. crude oil production remained level during the week ending Nov. 15, the U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA) said Wednesday.

According to the EIA, U.S. crude oil production stayed the same as the previous week at 12.8 million barrels per day (b/d), up by about 1.1 million b/d year on year.

Oil prices rebounded on Wednesday amid investor jitters over the supply in the Middle East due to tensions between Yemen's Houthi rebels and Saudi-led coalition.

The West Texas Intermediate for December delivery increased 1.90 U.S. dollars to settle at 57.11 dollars a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange.

Brent crude for January delivery rose 1.49 dollars to close at 62.40 dollars a barrel on the London ICE Futures Exchange.
