BEIJING, Nov. 27 (Xinhua) -- "Little Women," a new feature film adaptation of Louisa May Alcott's classic novel of the same name, is set for release in China, and the date is yet to be confirmed, production company Columbia Pictures announced Wednesday via official Weibo account.
Directed by Greta Gerwig, an American actress, screenwriter and film director, the upcoming movie tells of four sisters coming of age in America in the aftermath of the Civil War.
"Little Women" is set to be theatrically released in the United States on Dec. 25, 2019.
