KIEV, Nov. 28 (Xinhua) -- An agreement had been signed in Beijing allowing Ukrainian rapeseed flakes and honey to get access to Chinese market, the Deputy Minister of Economic Development of Ukraine Taras Kachka said on his Facebook page on Thursday.
"And finally, we signed two protocols on rapeseed flakes and honey. So dear producers, you can export it now," the Ukrainian official said, after the meeting with the General Administration of Customs of China that was held in Beijing on Wednesday.
Kachka said the talks involved a number of agricultural products like dairy products, wheat, barley, peas, beans, nuts, fish, and the work on getting access for these products to the Chinese market would significantly intensify.
Earlier this year China updated the list of Ukrainian dairy producers whose products are approved for export to China, thus increasing the access of Ukrainian products to its market.
