BEIJING, Nov. 30 (Xinhua) -- "Garage," a humorous theater performance for children aged six or older, will be staged at the Beijing Tianqiao Performing Arts Center (BTPAC) from Dec. 5 to 22.
The performance will tell a story of two men, a hen and many machines in a mechanical workshop, where the two men solve the challenges they encounter with the machines and engines they have.
Developed by the Cirka Teater, a theater company in Norway, the show is expected to give audiences a different theater experience, especially children, by incorporating elements of "steampunk."
The props of the 50-minute show, which are made of real steel collected from places such as dockyards and steelmaking workshops, are also a highlight.
Tickets for the performances are now available on the official site of the BTPAC (www.tartscenter.com) for 280 yuan (about 40 U.S. dollars) each.
