Pilot killed in Russian helicopter crash

MOSCOW, Nov. 30 (Xinhua) -- A private helicopter crashed on Saturday near the port city of Novorossiysk in southwestern Russia, killing the pilot, local media reported.

The Robinson R66 chopper, which belongs to a local tourism center, completely burned out after the crash, without causing casualties or destruction on the ground.

A criminal case has been initiated over the tragedy.
