LONDON, Nov. 30 (Xinhua) -- Defending champion Ronnie O'Sullivan ousted Chinese player Tian Pengfei 6-0 to reach the last 32 at snooker UK Championships in York on Saturday.

O'Sullivan, who has won the prestigious event seven times, gave few chance to his rival with top breaks of 71 and 106. The 43-year-old world number two will meet Thai player Noppon Saengkham in the third round.

"Obviously Tian is a very very good player, reaching quarterfinals of a couple of tournaments," said O'Sullivan. "Everbody knows that he is more than capable of producing good on the table. So that was a nice success."

China's Li Hang set up a last 32 meeting with Marco Fu as he sent off Xiao Guodong 6-4.

Fu came from 1-4 behind to edge Kyren Wilson 6-5. The veteran from Hong Kong of China struggled since receiving eye surgery two years ago and has dropped to the 56th in the rankings.

China's top player Ding Junhui is going to face Michael Georgiou in Sunday's second-round match while his compatriot Mei Xiwen will challenge world number one Judd Trump.
