BEIJING, Dec. 5 (Xinhua) -- "Ad Astra," an American sci-fi film set in outer space, hit the Chinese mainland big screens on Thursday, one day ahead of its original opening date.
Starring Brad Pitt and Tommy Lee Jones, the film tells the story of Roy McBride, an astronaut who goes into space in search of his missing father.
Hitting American theaters on Sept. 20, it has a current score of 6.8 out of 10 points on Chinese film rating site Douban.
